After a decade-long effort in our tea garden named 天空農園, meaning "Tea field in the sky" , a brand-new green tea for everyday use has finally come out!

The fragrant tea leaves harvested in this field are not suitable for drying at high heat because it results in bitterness and astringency.
Instead, the tea leaves are being stored in a cold storage until winter.
When those leaves are aged enough, drying is done carefully at low heat, and the distinct aroma and taste of mountainous regions stand out.

Fresh air, water, and soil in the mountains at 496m above sea level.
Our long-awaited product is launched as a tea that the more you drink, the more you feel attached to.

The most commonly enjoyed variety of Japanese green tea is sencha. The freshly-picked tea leaves are steamed and then dried as they are rolled. After the leaves have been shaped, they are blended to achieve the best flavor for the consumer. In general, sencha is green tinged with yellow and has a well-balanced combination of aroma, umami and bitterness, providing you with a feeling of luxury that increases with the grade of green tea.

About Our Tea
Uogashi Meicha is committed to natural tea leaves that are exposed to direct sunlight rather than those grown under shade or in greenhouse.
In this method, the tea leaves can retain a strong aroma and moderate astringency, which produces addictive flavor.

Japanese tea is easily influenced by oxygen, humidity, odors, heat and light.
When preserving, put it in an airtight container and keep it in a cool, dry space.
