About Customs, Duties & Taxes
When ordering from UOGASHI MEICHA, you're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of Japan may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; we have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be.
Customs offices in some countries may require the importer of record to provide identification before releasing the shipment.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Upon placement of order, please check your confirmation email immediately to insure "ship to" address is correct. Should the address be incorrect, please contact UOGASHI MEICHA immediately. Once a package has been shipped, there will be a redirect service fee should the address need to be changed while in transit.
As soon as your order is billed and shipped, we will send an email confirmation with shipment and tracking details.
International Shipping Rate
Shipping charges will be displayed after you entered your delivery address at checkout.
Find the tracking number on your shipping confirmation email and enter that number at https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/ems/index_en.html to check status of your online order. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours before tracking information is updated on the shipping carrier's website.

We apologize but we do not accept any return or exchange in order to ensure the safety and hygiene of our products. We only offer a return or exchange service in the event you receive a damaged or incorrect product.
